Type text in these formats when you use Keyword Search in the Hogue Knowledge Base.

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, quoted and grouped with parentheses. Check "Case Sensitive " if you want to meke case sensitive search.

gun grip

Finds documents that contain either gun or grip

gun or grip
gun, grip

Same as above

gun and grip

Finds only documents that contain both words

gun and not grip

Finds documents that contain gun and do not contain grip

"gun grip"

Finds documents that have the two or more words found right next to each other. Placing quotation marks around any series of words turns them into a phrase and tells Keyword search that you are only interested in documents that have the words in this specific order.

(gun or grip) and not "wood grip"

Finds documents that contain either gun or grip and but do not contain the phrase "wood grip" .
