Tritium in a knife allows the user to immediately locate and orient the knife in low to no-light conditions. This comes in handy when grabbing your knife as you leave for for work in the morning or in a more dire tactical situation. Tritium does not require an outside charge from UV light or batteries in order to glow – it is its own source of power. For Hogue Knives® OTF automatics, locating the trigger in all lighting conditions and engaging the knife is paramount.
