For decades, Cocobolo has been a staple in the Hogue grip catalog, possessing a decadent array of colors and durability. To pay homage to Hogue Inc.’s renowned wood-crafting legacy, the engineering team at Hogue Knives sought to integrate an epoxy laminated version of their Cocobolo wood material into the Counterstrike platform. This produced a stronger and more stable surface cover than natural wood and in turn, culminated in one of the most artisanal and elegant out the front knives to reach the American-made market.
Expanding on several past successes, Hogue Hunting is releasing a new folding model of their Expel Scalpel with a companion blade dispenser, as well as an XL model of the Extrak fixed field blade.
